Role preparation coaching at BLS is for actors who have booked work and want to make sure they're ready.
This might mean a series-regular role you start shooting in two weeks. A guest star with three scenes and a complicated emotional arc. A lead in a film that requires an accent, a physical transformation, or access to challenging emotional territory. A Broadway production where you need to be at full performance level before rehearsals begin.
Whatever the job, the preparation is specific. So is the coaching.

Who is this person? What do they want, in this story and in their life? What is their psychological makeup? What is their history? How do they move, speak, relate to others? Building a complete human being from the material you've been given.

Connecting to the emotional demands of the role using the BLS technique: specific, sustainable, and grounded in your own psychology. Going as deep as the material requires without compromising your wellbeing.
Developing the specific physical and vocal signature of the character — how they carry themselves, how they use their voice, what their presence communicates before they say a word.
Working your actual scenes, with your actual material, until your choices are clear, grounded, and repeatable under pressure.
*During the regular hours of M-F 10a-5p Pacific Time. Coachings outside of these hours are subject to a 1.5x overtime rate.

On-Set Coaching
For actors who want Braden present on set — in the room, between takes, available throughout the shooting day.
On-set coaching is the most intensive form of role preparation support available. Rather than preparing in advance and arriving on set alone, you have an experienced coach alongside you throughout the day. Running lines between setups, working through adjustments after takes, helping you integrate direction quickly, and making sure you're bringing your best work to every setup regardless of what the day throws at you.
On-set coaching includes:
• Present on set throughout the scheduled day
• Available between takes for notes, adjustments, and preparation
• Running lines and working material during waiting time
• Helping you process and integrate direction from the director
• Maintaining your performance across a long shooting day
• Available for any unexpected script changes or last-minute adjustments
Important note: The actor is responsible for obtaining director and production approval for a coach to be present on set before booking. This is standard practice and most productions accommodate it without issue.
