Braden Lynch is a Los Angeles-based acting coach specializing in audition preparation, self-tape coaching, and comprehensive technique training for actors at all levels.

Experience as a Coach

Since 2006, Braden has logged over 10,000 hours coaching actors of all ages and experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned professionals, offering both in-person classes and online coaching sessions to actors worldwide. He's earned a reputation for precision, depth, and no-nonsense compassion.

His days are spent in the work: coaching auditions, guiding clients through booked roles, and teaching weekly classes that focus on craft, integrity, and continual growth. His clients have gone on to lead roles in projects from Netflix, Amazon Studios, Hulu, HBO, Broadway, A24, and many more.

A Different Kind of Teacher

TECHNIQUE: While Braden was taught Stella Adler technique, he has enhanced and expanded it through human psychology. It's fully comprehensive, designed to give you reliable tools for every role, but it's never dogmatic. There's no one "right" way to act; there are principles that work, and room for your own artistry within them.

CARE: Braden prioritizes mental health. Acting training should make you stronger, not smaller. Honesty and vulnerability are welcomed in his studio, never exploited. You won't get vague feedback or emotional manipulation. You'll get clear, practical notes that strengthen your work without breaking your spirit.

COMMUNITY: Above all, Braden fosters a sense of community among his clients. His studio isn't just a place to train, and it's not a place where you'll feel alone or in tense competition with strangers. it's a place to belong, to risk, to be inspired, to grow. Actors return week after week, year after year, because the work deepens over time.

A Process Supporting Long-Term Growth

While some actors have booked roles off their first coaching with Braden, the technique he teaches isn't a quick fix. It's a foundation you can build on for your entire career—one that evolves with you as you grow as an artist and as a person.

He challenges actors to do their own work first, so he can take them further. "The more prepared you are," he says, "the more we can actually build." He's not here to break you down and rebuild you. He's here to help you stretch, sharpen, and grow.

And while he respects the grind, he remains unimpressed by resumes or celebrity: "Give me work ethic, integrity, and humility; I'm all about that."

Braden has worked as an actor across television, film, theatre, commercials, and video games. His performing career has given him firsthand experience with what works and what doesn't in real-world audition rooms and on set.

His deeper expertise comes from years of hands-on practice: road-testing traditional methods, identifying gaps, and building something better.

What is a typical class size?
Depending on a variety of factors, class attendance typically ranges from 6 to 12 actors.

What type of work can I bring to class?
Anything that challenges you — scenes from TV, film, theatre, original work, or material from the BLS Dropbox. Scripted scenes are welcome, but so are prepared exercises, emotional work, or accent drills.

How often will I get to work in class?
If you’re prepared, you can work every week.

Can I join the Master Class directly?
Yes, with Braden’s approval. Call to inquire.

Can I get credit if I miss a class?
Credit is typically only offered for missed classes due to paid acting work. For other cases, a makeup may be possible — reach out.

What’s expected in terms of preparation?
Come prepared. Analyze, personalize, memorize. Take yourself to a 6 or 7, and together we’ll push it to a 9 or 10.

Can I take more than one class at a time?
Yes, with Braden’s approval.

I’m on the waitlist — how long until I can join?
There's no way to know -- it depends on openings and your place in line. Feel free to call and check your status anytime.

What if I need a last-minute coaching and no one replies to my message?
If it’s your first session: Sit tight. Messages are checked multiple times a day, including weekends and holidays. We’ll get back to you, though you are welcome to follow up in case your message was lost in the void.
